As we all know, Sunday was Mother’s Day, the one day where we say thanks to the women who have been supportive in our lives. I always love this special day, not just because I am a mother and always get what I want most (dinner that I don’t have to cook in my own kitchen with my family), but also because it reminds me of all the women in my life who have made a difference.

On top of appreciating Mother’s Day for personal selfish reasons, it is the mini vignettes I see on Mother’s Day that make me smile. Here’s a story that represents all that is Mother’s Day.
