Nine years ago, I was recovering from a serious form of cancer at Dana Farber. I greatly appreciated the care I received, but when I left, I had no idea how to give back a piece of what they had given to me. While in Dana Farber’s care, I was the recipient of countless trials, many of which were funded by PMC…three letters that meant nothing to me at the time.

When I got better, my nurses and I agreed to do something that was completely new to all of us; ride the Pan Mass Challenge (PMC), a two-day bike ride that crosses Massachusetts. To take it one step further, we decided to start our own official PMC team.
